I saw the virgin Mary at the crossroads Between the Spine Road and the A19 She had tears falling down her face And I said "you're not as serene as I thought youd've been" And she said "I cry a tear for every little baby, every little baby born to this world" "And I cry another tear when all men die" And I said "Mary, you need a pint and a pie!" So I took Mary to a pub round the corner The kind of place that weeping women fit right in And I said "Is it too early for Bloody Mary?" And she said, ""Bloody Mary" is that a dig at me?!" And I said "I don't think so, but I don't know so, and I would Google it, but I can't get a signal in here." Then suddenly the bar was filled with angels Singing out a heavenly sound And all of a sudden I started regretting saying that this one would be my round Then all around me the daytime drinkers Starting lifting right off their feet They grabbed their pints as they started to fly They grabbed their pints as they started to fly Northumbrian rapture! All God's children headin' up to the sky! Can you hear the angels singing?! Can you hear their horns a'blowing?!

about

Gary and Mark decided to book a couple of days in Blank Studios, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne to have a general fanny about and see what happened. They reached out to a number of their musician and artist friends and their families to come along and join in with their shenanigans.
With the exception of "To Walk On Grass Again", no songs or music had been written. A further two-day session working on the initial bits and pieces produced this finished thing. We hope you like it.
